#Night of a thousand lights at Villandry Castle
In the beautiful setting of Villandry Castle, an exceptional event takes place every year. At nightfall, the magnificent gardens of the castle, reputed to be among the most beautiful in the Loire Valley region, light up with a thousand lights ! At the beginning of a beautiful summer twilight, no less than 2000 candles light up the gardens to discover the place from a new perspective. A rare and precious moment to walk the alleys of Villandry Castle and walk through the six hectares of gardens in the flickering glow of candles. The castle also offers entertainment during the evening, including costume walks and screenings. To close the evening in style, a large fireworks display is fired around the castle pond. Enough to live a beautiful romantic evening on a beautiful summer night. Located near Tours, the charming little village of Villandry and its famous castle hosts this magical event to the delight of lovers in search of romance and beauty.
